Ken Follett is an internationally renowned author, best known for his historical fiction and thriller novels. He was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1949 and has written over 30 books, including the best-selling novel The Pillars of the Earth. His other works include Eye of the Needle, World Without End, and Fall of Giants. He has won numerous awards for his writing, including the Edgar Award and the Corine International Book Prize.
