The Austrian Range is a MOUNTAIN range located in the eastern part of the ALPS. It is one of the most important MOUNTAIN ranges in Europe and stretches from the Czech Republic to Slovenia. The highest peak in the range is the Grossglockner, which stands at 3, 798 meters (12, 461 feet). The range is also home to many glaciers, lakes, and rivers.
