The Australian Stork, also known as the JABIRU, is a large bird native to Australia and parts of New Guinea. It is the only member of the genus Ephippiorhynchus and is the largest flying bird in Australia. The JABIRU stands at around 1.5 metres tall and has a wingspan of up to 2.7 metres. It is a distinctive bird with a long neck, a white head and neck, and a black body. It is an opportunistic feeder, eating a variety of small animals, fish, insects, and plants.
