Alan Dershowitz is an American attorney and scholar who has been a professor of law at Harvard Law School since 1967. He is best known for his work as a criminal appellate lawyer, representing high-profile clients in numerous cases. He is also a prominent author and commentator on the law and civil liberties. Dershowitz is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the American Philosophical Society. He has written more than 30 books and over 100 articles on constitutional and criminal law.
