Eileen Atkins is an English actress, writer, and occasional singer. She is best known for her roles in the films 'Gosford Park' and 'The Hours', as well as her stage performances in 'The Retreat from Moscow' and 'The Unexpected Man'. She has also written several plays, including 'Vita and Virginia' and 'The Watsons'.
