An EVA is when an astronaut leaves the spacecraft and performs tasks in space, such as repairs or experiments. A JAUNT is a short trip, usually to a nearby destination. Lastly, a RIDE is when an astronaut travels in a vehicle, such as a spacecraft, to a distant location.
