Alan Bean was an American astronaut and naval officer who flew on two Apollo missions. He was the fourth person to walk on the Moon and the first to paint a picture of the lunar landscape. ALAN's mission was to explore the Moon and collect samples for scientific study. Neil Armstrong was the first person to walk on the Moon, and Alans was the fifth. Alans was also a member of the Apollo 12 mission, which was the second mission to land on the Moon. He was the commander of the mission and was responsible for the successful completion of the mission.
