Astronauts Apollo were a group of four American astronauts who were part of the Apollo program during the 1960s and 1970s. The four astronauts were Neil Armstrong, Edwin 'BUZZ' Aldrin, Michael Collins, and James Lovell. Armstrong and Aldrin were the first two men to walk on the moon in 1969. Collins was the command module pilot for the mission, while Lovell was the commander of the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission. Other notable astronauts from the Apollo program include Wally Schirra and Jim Irwin.
