Kai is a character from the science fiction television series 'Lexx' who is an assassin. He is a member of the Brunnen-G race, a humanoid species that has been nearly wiped out by the evil insect-like species known as the Insect Civilisation. Kai is a reanimated corpse, brought back to life by the Divine Shadow and given the task of protecting the Lexx, a powerful bio-mechanical weapon. He is a skilled fighter and loyal companion to the crew of the Lexx.
