The Asiatic Turkey, also known as the Anatolian Turkey, is a species of wild turkey native to the Anatolian Peninsula in western Asia. It is one of the two species of turkey, the other being the North American Wild Turkey. The Asiatic Turkey is smaller than its North American counterpart and has a more slender body. It is also distinguished by its white tail feathers and its black and white barred wings. The Asiatic Turkey is found in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, woodlands, and scrublands. It feeds on a variety of plants, insects, and small animals.
