LIGHT is a form of energy that allows us to see, and LAND is a large area of ground. Appearing is to COME into view, alighting is to descend from the air, and succeeding is to ACHIEVE a desired result. Achieving is to gain with effort, attaining is to reach a goal, and berthing is to moor a boat. Coming is to approach or arrive, getting in is to ENTER a place, blowing in is to arrive suddenly, making it is to SUCCEED, pulling in is to attract, showing up is to APPEAR, turning up is to arrive, upstarting is to begin suddenly, getting there is to reach a destination, and coming into one's own is to become independent.
