Alan Arkin is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming (1966), The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1968), Catch-22 (1970), Little Miss Sunshine (2006), and Argo (2012). He has won two Academy Awards, one for Best Supporting Actor for Little Miss Sunshine and one for Best Actor for Argo.
