Alan Arkin is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming (1966), The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter (1968), Catch-22 (1970), and Little Miss Sunshine (2006). He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Little Miss Sunshine. Arkin has also appeared in television series such as Chicago Hope and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. He is currently starring in the Netflix series Ozark.
