The Arapaho are a Native American TRIBE who traditionally lived in the Great Plains region of North America. They are closely related to the Cheyenne and are part of the larger Algonquian language family. The Arapaho lived in teepees, which are cone-shaped dwellings made of animal skins and wooden poles. They were also known as the Ute TRIBE, which is a term derived from the Spanish word for mountain dwellers.
