Actor Marlon Brando was an American actor who is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors of all time. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Godfather, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Apocalypse Now. Brando won two Academy Awards for Best Actor for his performances in On the Waterfront and The Godfather. He was also nominated for eight other Academy Awards throughout his career. Brando's career spanned over five decades and he was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1980.
