Abyssinia, now known as ETHIOPIA, is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea to the north, Djibouti and Somalia to the east, Sudan and South Sudan to the west, and Kenya to the south. It has a long and rich history, having been one of the oldest countries in the world. It was formerly known as Abyssinia, and was the only African nation to remain independent during the Scramble for Africa in the late 19th century. Today, ETHIOPIA is the second most populous nation in Africa, with over 100 million people.
