Abraham and Isaac are two of the most important figures in the Bible. Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Sarah was his wife. Esau was Isaac's twin brother. The story of Abraham and Isaac is told in the book of Genesis, where God asked Abraham to sacrifice his SON Isaac on Mount Moriah as a test of faith. Abraham was willing to do so, but at the last minute, God provided a ram as a substitute. Isaac was thus spared, and the term 'Abraham and Isaac' has come to symbolize the ultimate act of faith and obedience.
