Stan is one of the four main characters in the popular animated television series South Park. He is an elementary school student who lives in the fictional town of South Park, Colorado. Stan is voiced by and loosely based on series co-creator Trey Parker. Stan is portrayed as a normal, average, American, fourth-grader. He is friendly, laid-back, and intelligent, but often confused by the eccentricities of his hometown and frustrated by the awkwardness of his age.
