The BRONX, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and Elmira are all boroughs of New York City. The BRONX is the northernmost borough and is composed of five distinct districts. Brooklyn is the most populous borough and is located on the western end of Long Island. Staten Island is the southernmost borough and is connected to Manhattan by the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. Queens is the easternmost borough and is home to two of the three major airports serving the city. Elmira is the smallest borough and is located in the southwestern corner of the city.
