Young Frankenstein is a 1974 comedy horror film directed by Mel Brooks. The movie follows the story of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, played by Gene Wilder, who is the grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein. In the movie, Dr. Frankenstein is assisted by two characters, INGA and Igor. INGA is played by Teri Garr and Igor is played by Marty Feldman. INGA is a young lab assistant who helps Dr. Frankenstein with his experiments while Igor is a hunchbacked lab assistant who provides comic relief. Together, they help Dr. Frankenstein create a monster.
