Yoda's student is Luke, a four-letter name. Luke is a major character in the Star Wars franchise, first appearing in the original 1977 film. He is a Jedi Knight and the son of Anakin Skywalker, later revealed to be Darth Vader. Luke was trained by Yoda, a wise and powerful Jedi Master, in the ways of the Force. Luke eventually became a powerful Jedi himself, and helped defeat the Galactic Empire.
