Aaron Boone is an American former professional baseball infielder and current manager of the New York Yankees. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Florida Marlins, Washington Nationals, and Houston Astros. Boone was hired as the Yankees' manager in December 2017, replacing Joe Girardi. Boone had previously served as a commentator for ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball.
