The Wyeth Portrait Subject is Helga, a five-letter name. Helga was the subject of a series of portraits by American artist Andrew Wyeth. The paintings were created between 1971 and 1985 and depict Helga Testorf, a neighbor of Wyeth's in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The series of paintings was kept secret until 1986 when they were first exhibited. The paintings have since become some of Wyeth's most famous works.
