Ghostwriting is the practice of writing a book, article, or other work for another person who is credited as the author. Ghostwriters are often hired to write fiction in the style of an existing author, or to write articles, stories, reports, or other texts that are officially credited to another person. Ghostwriters are also used to write speeches or other texts that are read by someone else. Ghostwriters are usually paid either a flat fee or a percentage of the royalties of the sales of the work they have written.
