Writer Martin AMIS is an English novelist, essayist, and screenwriter. He is best known for his novels Money (1984) and London Fields (1989). AMIS has been awarded the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for his novel The Information (1995) and was shortlisted for the Booker Prize for his novel Time's Arrow (1991). He is the son of the late British novelist Kingsley AMIS and has written several books about his father.
