Fyodor Dostoyevsky, also known as Feodor Dostoyevsky, was a Russian writer and philosopher who is widely regarded as one of the greatest novelists of all time. He is best known for his novels Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov, and The Idiot. His works explore human psychology in the troubled political, social, and spiritual atmosphere of 19th-century Russia. He was also a major influence on existentialism and other 20th-century philosophical movements.
