Writer Burrows is the pen name of ABE Burrows, an American playwright, director, and composer. He was a Tony Award-winning Broadway veteran who wrote the book for the musicals Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He also directed the original productions of both shows. Burrows was also a successful television writer, having written for The Phil Silvers Show and The Danny Thomas Show.
