A wine steward, also known as a SOMMELIER, is a professional who is knowledgeable in all aspects of wine service. They are responsible for selecting, acquiring, and serving wines to customers in restaurants, hotels, and other establishments. They must also be able to advise customers on the best wines to pair with their meals. Additionally, they may be responsible for maintaining the wine cellar, ordering new wines, and training staff on proper wine service.
