Nefertiti was the wife of Akhenaten, an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who ruled from 1353 to 1336 BC. She is one of the most famous and recognizable figures of ancient Egypt, due to her iconic bust which is now housed in the Neues Museum in Berlin. Nefertiti was a powerful queen who is believed to have co-ruled alongside her husband, and she is thought to have been instrumental in the religious revolution that saw the worship of Aten, the sun god, become the primary religion of Egypt.
