The Whitethroat is a species of WARBLER, a small passerine bird found in Europe and parts of Asia. It is a migratory species, breeding in northern Europe and wintering in southern Europe and Africa. The Whitethroat has a distinctive white throat and grey-brown upperparts, and is easily identified by its song, which is a loud, melodic trill. It feeds mainly on insects, but also eats seeds and berries.
