Eli Wallach was an American actor who had a prolific career spanning over six decades. He is best known for his roles in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, The Magnificent Seven, and The Godfather Part III. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Misfits. Wallach received a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his performance in The Rose Tattoo. He was also awarded an honorary Oscar in 2010 for his lifetime achievement.
