Ida Kavafian is a renowned violinist who has been performing for over four decades. She has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. She has also collaborated with some of the most prominent composers, such as John Adams, Leonard Bernstein, and George Gershwin. Kavafian has won numerous awards, including the Avery Fisher Prize, and has been nominated for two Grammy Awards. She is currently a professor at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
