Jascha Heifetz was a renowned violinist who is widely considered to be one of the greatest violinists of all time. He was born in Vilnius, Lithuania in 1901 and began playing the violin at the age of five. Heifetz made his debut with the Imperial Russian Orchestra at the age of seven and went on to become one of the most celebrated violinists of the 20th century.
