Aaron Burr was the third Vice President of the United States, serving under President Thomas Jefferson from 1801 to 1805. He is best known for his duel with Alexander Hamilton, which resulted in Hamilton's death. Burr was a lawyer and politician who served in the Continental Army during the American Revolution. He was also a member of the Constitutional Convention and a signer of the United States Constitution.
