Vestry is an administrative body in some Christian churches, usually consisting of lay people who are elected or appointed to manage the temporal affairs of the church. SACRISTY is a room in a church where sacred vessels and vestments are kept and where the clergy and other church officials vest for services. It is also used as a storage area for liturgical materials such as altar linens and candles.
