Verne Submariner is a term used to refer to the characters of Jules Verne's two novels, '20, 000 Leagues Under the Sea' and 'The Mysterious Island'. The main character in both books is Captain Nemo, a mysterious figure who commands a submarine called the Nautilus. His loyal companion is NED Land, a Canadian harpooner.
