The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the midwestern and southeastern United States. It participates in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The conference was founded in 1948 and currently consists of twelve member institutions located in Alabama, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and West Virginia. The OVC sponsors 19 sports, including men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, and soccer.
