Units of radiation, also known as REMs, are a measure of the amount of radiation absorbed by an organism. REMs are used to measure the amount of radiation exposure and can be used to determine the risk of developing cancer or other health problems. REMs are typically measured in millirems (mrem) or microrems (µrem). The higher the number of REMs, the greater the risk of developing health problems.
