Uncontrolled contraction, also known as a TIC, is a sudden, involuntary muscle movement or vocalization. It is usually brief and repetitive, and can range from mild twitches to more severe spasms. These contractions can occur in any part of the body, but are most commonly seen in the face, neck, and arms. They can be caused by a variety of medical conditions, including Tourette Syndrome, cerebral palsy, and Huntington's disease.
