Jack Nance was an American actor best known for his role as Pete Martell in the cult classic television series Twin Peaks. He also appeared in several of director David Lynch's films, including Eraserhead and Blue Velvet. Nance was born in Boston, Massachusetts and began his acting career in the 1970s. He was a prolific character actor, appearing in over 100 films and television shows throughout his career.
