The Turkish Peninsula is a region located in the southeastern part of Europe and western part of Asia. It is bordered by the Black Sea, the Aegean Sea, and the Mediterranean Sea. One of the most famous events associated with the Turkish Peninsula is the Gallipoli Campaign, which was fought during World War I between the Allied forces and the Ottoman Empire. The campaign lasted from April 1915 to January 1916 and resulted in a victory for the Allies.
