The TRAC II SUCCESSOR is the ATRA, which stands for Advanced Tactical Radar Approach Control. It is an advanced air traffic control system developed by the US Navy in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The ATRA was designed to replace the TRAC II system, which had been in use since the 1950s. The ATRA was designed to provide more accurate and efficient air traffic control services than the TRAC II system. The ATRA was eventually replaced by the Joint Surveillance System in the 1990s.
