Sheerness is a town on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, England. It is located at the mouth of the River Medway and has a population of around 12, 000 people. Sheerness is known for its maritime history and is home to the Sheerness Dockyard, which was established in the 17th century. The town is also home to a number of other attractions, including the Sheerness Heritage Centre and the Sheppey Little Theatre.
