Tosca and Turandot are two operas composed by Giacomo Puccini. Tosca is a three-act OPERA set in Rome in 1800 and tells the story of the love triangle between the painter Cavaradossi, the singer Tosca, and the police chief Scarpia. Turandot is a three-act OPERA set in ancient China and tells the story of the princess Turandot and her suitors who must answer three riddles in order to win her hand in marriage. Both operas are considered masterpieces of the Italian operatic tradition.
