The Tommy Band (with 'The') is a rock band from the United Kingdom, formed in the late 1970s. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Tommy, bassist Dave, drummer Pete, and keyboardist John. They are best known for their hit single 'I'm Gonna Make You Mine', which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in 1979. The band has released several albums over the years, including their self-titled debut album in 1978 and their most recent album, 'The Best of The Tommy Band', in 2020.
