Tobias Wolff is an American author, best known for his memoirs and short stories. He was born in 1945 and is a recipient of the National Medal of Arts. His works include This Boy's Life, In Pharaoh's Army, The Night in Question, Old School, and Our Story Begins. He has also written several novels, including The Barracks Thief, Back in the World, and Old School. He is currently a professor at Stanford University.
