TINY LAND MASS is a term used to describe a small island or ISLET. An ISLET is a small island, usually no more than a few acres in size, that is surrounded by water. It is typically uninhabited and is often found in tropical or subtropical climates. Islets are often formed from coral reefs, volcanic activity, or other geological processes. They can also be artificially created, such as those used for military bases or oil rigs.
