Henry Luce was the co-founder of TIME magazine. He was an American magazine magnate who founded TIME, Life, Fortune, and Sports Illustrated. Luce was born in China in 1898 and attended Yale University. He was a major figure in the development of photojournalism and the modern magazine. Luce was also a strong advocate for the United States' involvement in World War II. He died in 1967 at the age of 69.
