The Science Guy is a nickname for Bill Nye, an American science educator, television presenter, and mechanical engineer. He is best known for hosting the educational television program Bill Nye the Science Guy from 1993 to 1998. The show was nominated for 23 Emmy Awards, winning 19 of them. Nye has also written several books, including Undeniable: Evolution and the Science of Creation. He is an advocate for scientific skepticism and the importance of science education.
