The Pentateuch is the first five books of the Hebrew Bible, also known as the TORAH. It is traditionally attributed to Moses and is also referred to as the Mosaic Law. The Pentateuch includes Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. These books contain the foundational stories of the Jewish people, including the creation of the world, the exodus from Egypt, and the giving of the Ten Commandments.
